Saint Mark and Two Commentators

Below the lion representing St. Mark are two copies of what we may guess are his gospel on a platform supported by an oddly anthromorphic stand. The saint on the right is a bishop with a mitre, crozier, and chasuble. The one on the left, also in a chasuble and possibly a mitre, could be a bishop, but instead of a crozier he holds some sort of vexillum. At this time it would be hard to identify the two figures definitively, but they seem intended to represent specific bishops.
